Planning Board

The Planning Board is responsible for decisions regarding current and long-range planning for the Town of Meredith. It consists of seven unpaid members appointed by the Town Board for terms of seven years each.

A primary function is administering the town’s subdivision regulations (211KB), which provide guidelines for land use. These regulations prescribe procedures for residents who apply for a boundary line adjustment or minor or major subdivision.

In 2006, the Planning Board developed the new Comprehensive Plan for Meredith, which was adopted by the Town Board.

The Planning Board meets in Town Hall at 7 p.m. on the first Monday of each month. Minutes can be found here after they are approved.
